The Petticrows Centenary Edition
The Centenary Edition is the evolution of the Petticrows v6.1. It keeps the proven v6 hull and keel shape (2017) and the v6.1 deck and internal mouldings (launched at San Remo in 2019), and adds three upgrades: a resin-infused build, an optimised runner and backstay configuration, and the latest fittings, systems and ropes.
One boat, three ways to finish it: all GRP, GRP with a teak-on-glass deck, or GRP with a hand-crafted wooden deck.

Three Centenary models
Every model has the same resin-infused v6.1 hull and all three Centenary upgrades. They differ in how the deck is built and finished.
Centenary All GRP
The hull, deck, internal moulding, all bulkheads and every other component are vacuum resin-infused GRP, giving total control of laminate specification, weight and consistency. This is the reference Centenary Edition: every feature below comes as standard or as an option.
- Hull
- Resin-infused GRP, v6.1 mould
- Deck
- Resin-infused GRP, non-slip design
- Lead time
- About six months
Centenary Teak on Glass
Our "teak on glass" Dragon combines the beauty of a wooden deck with the practicality of a GRP boat. Unlike a wooden-decked boat, it needs minimal maintenance, and is a great solution for sailors who love the traditional look of the Dragon.
The hull and deck are resin-infused GRP, but during construction we create a small recess in the deck so a teak veneer deck can be laid into it. We carefully calculate the construction so that the boat's weight and weight distribution fall within the usual parameters for a racing Dragon. Everything else is the same as the Centenary All GRP.
- Hull
- Resin-infused GRP, v6.1 mould
- Deck
- Resin-infused GRP with teak veneer laid in a recess
- Lead time
- On request
Centenary Wooden Deck
The ideal Dragon for sailors who love to mix modern hull design and construction with traditional woodcraft. The hull and internal mouldings (floor grid, floor and some bulkheads) are resin-infused GRP from our v6.1 mould; the complete deck is hand-crafted in wood.
A wooden subdeck is laid onto wooden deck beams, then a teak deck, with a choice of varnished mahogany or teak for the covering boards, king plank, traveller, cuddy and coamings. You choose the layout of teak and varnished mahogany to create a beautiful one-off boat that is fully compliant with class rules, and a great option for racing too.
- Hull
- Resin-infused GRP hull and internal mouldings
- Deck
- Wooden subdeck on wooden beams, teak deck, mahogany or teak trim
- Lead time
- On request
