Great start to Dragon World Championship for new v6 Dragon

Team Provezza Dragon (Ali Tezdiker, Andy Beadsworth and Simon Fry) are off to a flying start by winning the first 2 races in the Dragon World Championship taking place in Cascais Portugal.

At Petticrows we spent a significant part of last year developing our new v6 Dragon hull design with a number of new v6 hulls being built during the last 5 months. It is great to see that the time and effort invested in the project are paying off with the new v6 flying around the race course  – so far!

In the months leading up to Christmas the workshop was busy preparing the designs and moulds for our new v6 model Dragon.

Since Christmas boats have been leaving the workshop with great feedback coming from sailors. Fresh from a victory at the Stavros match racing event, Ali Tezdiker, Andy Beadsworth and Simon Fry claimed the first v6 major regatta win at the Juan Carlos regatta in Cascais in their new boat Provezza.

Lawrie Smiths team sailing a new v6 Dragon also finished fourth overall.
